Bill has been a leader in the insurance industry for over 40 years, including serving a term as the president of the Independent Insurance Agents of NC. He also raises beef cattle and enjoys spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Wes Johnson, AFIS
VP OF SALES
After spending several years as an insurance adjuster, Wes decided to come back home and join the family agency. He leads the sales team and helps our clients develop risk management programs that are tailored to their operation.
Jessica Yarbrough, CIC, CISR
VP OF OPERATIONS
Jessica is in charge of making sure the agency runs efficiently and our customers are receiving the excellent service we promise. She enjoys finding tools and processes that help the team work better. At home, Jessica and her family keep a small backyard flock of chickens.
Sheila’s many talents have resulted in her wearing many hats in the decades she has been with the agency, ranging from being a customer service rep to an IT administrator. Currently, her primary responsibility is handling our accounting and bookkeeping.
Hayley helps the agency run at maximum potential by utilizing her unique combination of IT training and insurance experience. She manages a variety of activities ranging from social media to customer service, with a little of everything in between. She loves to recharge by spending time with her family at the lake or beach.
Callers and visitors to our Mocksville office are most often greeted by Jenny’s friendly voice. She takes care of the many little details necessary to maintain our pleasant office environment. In her spare time, she teaches piano and is involved in her church’s music ministry.

Drawing from her personal experience in agriculture and finance, Beth enjoys meeting with prospective and current customers and helping them create an insurance program that best suits their needs. She is a farmer herself, running a seedstock Angus cow-calf operation in SE Tennessee.
SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Since graduating from NC State, Adam has built a career for himself in the insurance industry. His energetic personality drives him to develop and maintain long term relationships with our customers. Outside of work, Adam enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Zac’s prior experience in feed & seed sales resulted in connections with many farmers in his home state of Kentucky and the surrounding area. Now he aims to help these farmers protect their property and income by introducing them to the specialized insurance programs and competitive rates we offer.
FIELD SALES AGENTAs a broiler farmer himself, Bobby enjoys helping other farmers obtain the coverage they need to protect their livelihood. At home in Anson County, NC, Bobby is involved in the ministry of his church and loves spending time with family.

Ashley’s favorite part of her job is helping customers understand their insurance coverages and providing behind-the-scenes support to our sales team. When she’s not at work, she has fun spending time with her son on the soccer field.

Ally enjoys studying farm and commercial insurance in order to help our customers gain the peace of mind that comes from understanding their policies. A native of Southern Georgia, she makes her home in NC where she and her husband are busy raising 4 young boys.

ACCOUNT MANAGERThrough personal experience working in agriculture, Lindsey understands how important it is for farmers to carry appropriate insurance limits. She enjoys helping our customers solve insurance-related problems that they may have in an effort to protect their property & livelihood.
Natalie Winters, CISR
Natalie maintains strong relationships with our insurance carrier underwriters, as this enables her to negotiate the best options & prices for our customers’ needs. A Pennsylvania-to-North Carolina transplant, she is an active mother of 3 who spends the majority of her weekends on a baseball field.
Penny has been a key part of the Johnson Insurance team for many years. Our customers have appreciated her personal attention to their accounts, and she is an excellent mentor to the younger generation of account managers in our office.

LIFE AND HEALTH ACCOUNT MANAGERTina is our go-to life and health insurance expert. She enjoys helping individuals and small business owners find options for coverage which they may not have known were available. At home on her farm, she looks after a flock of chickens, a cat, a few dogs, and her husband.
PERSONAL LINES ACCOUNT MANAGERVicki has been working with our personal lines accounts for many years, having had the privilege of seeing our clients’ families grow up alongside her own. When she’s not working, she enjoys spoiling her granddaughters and traveling to Disneyworld with them any chance she gets.
